Manual
This Guide is designed to help teachers and educators use inclusive storytelling techniques to engage children (especially girls) aged 6 to 9 in STEAM subjects. Building on the project’s introductory guide and complementing the role model stories and lesson plans, it offers practical tools, tips, and strategies to break down stereotypes and spark curiosity, critical thinking, confidence, and active participation through stories and hands-on learning.
Created especially for primary school teachers, the guide includes suggestions for storytelling and content creation, inspiring activity ideas, and effective teaching methods to make STEAM topics more accessible, relatable, and exciting for young learners.
As the final resource of the STEAM Tales project, this guide helps teachers make the most of all project materials while creating a learning environment where every child feels seen, empowered, and inspired to dream big and explore the world of STEAM.
