The European Union (EU) constantly faces different manifestations of Europhobia: unmasking myths and fake news becomes more and more important to keep the EU united. This compilation of anti-European myths (fake news) and success stories consists of 145 anti-European myths, common to the project partner countries, along with the relevant explanations of the real facts, together with useful links where correct information can be found. In addition, it presents 60 success stories and some weaknesses of the EU. The false myths have been grouped according to the topic they deal with, such as legislation, politics, religion, culture, migration, finances, the functioning of the EU and so on.
The main purpose of the collection is to expose these myths and, at the same time, to teach the reader a method for recognizing fake news.
