The training course on sustainable development and efficient use of natural resources of the UpSpace project is designed for students aged 12-16. It offers a future-oriented curriculum to strengthen students’ knowledge and competences in combating climate change and managing the sustainable use of natural resources. The course raises awareness of environmental issues, empowers students to adopt healthy lifestyles, and helps them develop green skills applicable to their future careers. Students will be trained on the following topics: promoting the bio-economy while preserving biodiversity, carbon footprint, circular economy, consumption and waste, and climate change. Tested with a group of students through in-person activities, the course is fully available online on the UpSpace e-learning platform. Developed in collaboration with teachers from the project’s school partners, the course is available in English and the project’s partner languages (Italian, German, Serbian, and Greek). At the end of the course, participants can download a certificate of attendance.
