Policy recommendations
The Choose Life Manifesto was created by local Youth-Choose Council members from Italy, Poland, Greece, Portugal, Cyprus and Serbia, and contains youth-informed policy recommendations.
It highlights the needs of at-risk young people and recommends necessary actions to improve preventive programmes and social welfare initiatives. Among others, it urges that drug-related issues be prioritised in local government plans, contributing to stronger, more cohesive responses to the challenges facing the community. The manifesto was created throughout collection and feedback gain from young people participating in the Choose Life project activities.
