In Europe, child sexual exploitation is little known and data are lacking. The STOP project aims to raise awareness and train professionals to address this problem. An interactive infographic explores key issues such as definition, legislation and vulnerable groups. Initiatives like STOP are essential to protect children.
AFROEQUALITY strives to contribute to the debate on racism, Afrophobia and inclusion in Europe by analyzing the experiences of African communities in countries such as Italy, Spain and Greece. Through an anonymous survey, the project aims to gather opinions on stereotypes and discrimination, involving both those who live these realities and those who observe them. Participate to support the fight against racism and improve social coexistence!
During “Citizens Xelerator Days: Let’s Celebrate Democracy,” together with Auser Ciminna we formed an opportunity to share stimulating and inspiring ideas with leading citizens of all ages eager to deepen their skills and share concrete experiences on how to contribute to the improvement of the social fabric.
EVECSA promotes Climate Smart Agriculture (CSA) to improve agribusiness resilience in Europe. It focuses on professional development of farmers by creating partnerships between institutions and agricultural sectors. Currently, it is launching six Centers of Professional Excellence to address climate challenges and improve sustainable agricultural practices.
AmuNEET offers young NEETs from Sicily a unique opportunity for personal and professional growth through internships abroad in Greece, Portugal and Spain. After three months, participants are showing significant progress in language skills, autonomy and social integration. The project is continuing to guide them toward integration into the world of work.
The third event of the FEM-ABLE track was held at the University of Palermo, where the National Strategy for Gender Equality was presented. The meeting outlined the strategy’s priorities and practical actions, such as workshops aimed at young people to promote inclusive participation and political representation.
SAFE HUT offered the WGSS staff a forest bathing experience, fostering a rediscovery of self-care and mindful living. Participants, from different countries, created an intangible “safe space” that will strengthen their commitment to the inclusion and empowerment of vulnerable women and girls.
World Teachers’ and Teachers’ Day reflects on the essential role of the teacher in global education. The 2024 theme, “Valuing Teachers’ Voices,” promotes listening to their opinions in educational policies. CESIE ETS actively contributes with events and training initiatives for teachers and students.
