E-learning platform

ReFace MOOC intends to contribute to enhancing the adaptive capacity and resilience of regions to enable them to respond to adversity and crises.
It will strengthen your awareness of how regional actions shape responses to major economic, social and environmental challenges, and the tools, methods and elements suggested for effective strategy development and integrated policy making at regional/local level.
The course will guide you through the analysis of resilience, its various levels and types, with a focus on regional resilience and the stages of its development cycle. It will examine the concepts of risks and hazards, as well as the components of regional resilience and their interconnections. You will have the opportunity to analyse a regional resilience planning process and learn the need for the involvement and cooperation of the community and key regional actors in the construction of resilience strategies and plans, and their implementation, as well as the measurement of the impact of planned measures and funding.
