This report describes a local event held within the European project Media Masters, funded by the European Union to promote media literacy and civic participation across nine countries. The session combined theoretical insights with hands-on activities to examine the effects of disinformation on European democracies. Through workshops, expert panels, and an interactive Media Masters game session, participants explored tools and strategies to identify fake news. The event encouraged experiential learning and demonstrated the effectiveness of the approach in strengthening critical thinking, digital awareness, and active citizenship among youth.
