Establishing SMART E-Learning platforms and innovative teaching methods to enable inclusive education, bridging financial and geographic gaps for students, including those with disabilities, to attend lectures remotely.
Context
The project seeks to establish modern multimedia learning platforms and smart classrooms/labs in Higher Education Institutions in Kosovo, Montenegro, and Bosnia and Herzegovina to facilitate remote learning and improve teaching methodologies in order to enhance quality of education and accessibility for students facing economic, geographic, and disability-related challenges.
Objectives
- To improve the teaching process in Partner Countries: Kosovo, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
- To establish modern multimedia distance learning platforms and smart classrooms/labs to include students with disabilities ad from remote and isolated geographical and socio-economic areas.
- To develop and implement modern pedagogical approaches on how Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) can use modern multimedia e-learning platform with their students.
Activities
- Comparative analysis of the distance learning platforms and smart labs models at Programme and Partner countries HEIs;
- Study visits to the Programme country HEIs;
- Developing models of distance learning platforms and smart labs with technical specifications based on user requirements in Partner countries;
- Modern core distance learning platforms and smart labs set-up and launching;
- Exchange of teaching content and experience in E-learning between partners’ HEIs;
Resources
- Analysis of existing modern distance learning platforms and smart labs models at the HEIs in Spain, Malta and Slovenia.
