The 12th and 13th of March the GEM IN Kick off Meeting among all the partners has taken place online in order to cope with the emergency situation caused worldwide by the COVID 19.
The aim of the meeting was to present the project discuss and agree on the objectives that are to be reached and to find a common ground on the first and future steps to take within the project.
Starting from GEM, a project previously implemented by CESIE, and from the presentation to the participants of its main methodologic features as well as tools, the new project GEM IN has been built according to the principle of the horizontal and vertical upscaling:
GEM IN will be a wider and further developed version of GEM, it will maintain the methodological approaches of creative thinking, learning by playing, education to active citizenship and interculturality while widening its impact to new formal and non-formal educational contexts and targets.
Moreover, it will assure an impact on policy and systemic level thanks to the development of an Operational Pack for Educational and Policy Stakeholders that will include a Road Map on inclusion of intercultural citizenship programmes and a Policy recommendations for policy-makers, guiding them in the development of intervention strategies at both local and national levels.
The participants of the KOM have had the chance of sharing information and opinions in order to start the development of the first phases of the project.
The overview of the project has been presented and approved.
