The Basic clearing represents the starting point of the SymfoS counselling approach and has been designed for consultants (or trainers, social workers, teachers) to use a rapid assessment tool that establishes the needs of young people: if they only need some practical information (e.g. how to write a CV), or if they need focused on skills and resources or a complete counselling process for a possible reassignment to qualified counselling centers.
The document, online available in Italian, English, German and Spanish is a step by step guide on how to conduct a basic assessment: how to support young people identifying their goal, how to organize the counselling session, how to use the necessary materials and how to prepare the action plan.
