SMART – Evidencing success factors in informal learning: Handbook for policy-makers
The SMART Handbook for policy-makers makes policy recommendations and provides guidelines to structure a quality assurance system that evidences success factors of second chance education and the value of informal learning.
The purpose of the handbook is to support policy makers / decision makers by enabling them to make informed decisions about funding for second chance education or the adoption of its methods into mainstream education.
The handbook draws on the results of the literature review, the development of the quality assurance system (SMS system), the Teachers Handbook and the Organisational Handbook.
