State of the art report
This report, prepared as part of the DIRASA project, aims to gather and synthesize crucial information for redefining research governance in Tunisia.
Key activities include:
- Identifying relevant documentary references on research governance, supplemented by benchmarking and synthesis.
- Developing, distributing, and collecting responses to a self-assessment questionnaire from Tunisian universities to identify strengths, weaknesses, and recommendations.
- Conducting focus groups during the kick-off meeting in Sfax and the consultative workshop in Monastir to validate and discuss the self-assessment questionnaire results.
- Interviewing and analyzing inputs from the directors-general of various research governance structures in Tunisia.
This report provides a foundation for future project work, offering an in-depth understanding of the implementation and operational levels of universities in the scientific research field. It is available on the project website for public consultation and by national and local authorities involved in research.
