This report shows the findings from the evaluation of the learning outcomes of teachers who attended the European Workshop for collaborative competencies for Teachers as part of the project CARMA – RMA and other non-formal learning methods for student motivation. The workshop was a five-day training event held on 3rd – 7th October 2016 in Palermo, hosted by CESIE. The participants included 25 teachers supported by 7 non-formal learning experts from the 7 partner countries – Italy, Spain, France, Portugal, Turkey, Belgium and Austria. Keynote speakers and trainers included UNESCO Schools Belgium, EU Schools Policy expert and 2 specialist trainers in the Reciprocal Maieutic Approach (RMA) from Italy.

The Non-formal learning experts from each partner organisation led the training delivery and used the UNESCO four pillars of learning as a guideline to assess the increase in knowledge, ability, awareness, and confidence among the teachers. During the workshop, the teachers were asked about their perceptions, opinions, beliefs and attitudes.
