Handbook

Peer-education in Comprehensive Sexuality Education is a practical guide designed to support young people and youth workers in planning and facilitating meaningful peer-learning experiences. It offers clear guidelines, methodological tools, hands-on activities, and practical tips for conducting peer training sessions and events with and for young people. The guide introduces the foundations of peer education and provides concrete advice on how to be an effective peer educator, how to build and maintain strong connections within the group and with co-facilitators, and how to create a safe, inclusive, and curiosity-driven learning environment. Thematic chapters explore key topics through both theory and experience-based practice. Each chapter combines a theoretical framework with interactive activities, structured around clear objectives, required materials, step-by-step facilitation instructions, and reflection questions that help participants connect learning to personal insights.
