How to improve soft skills in young people with fewer opportunities to favor their social inclusion?

How to motivate them to participate in mobility projects to raise their employability and social skills?

During the 5th partner meeting hold in Lille (France) on 28th and 29th November 2017, we discussed about the COPE – online platform.

It will gather all the newly created tools (training material, videos, guidelines) which are meant for training resources and guidance for young people interested in mobility and personal development.

All this information will help participants to increase their understanding about the mobility projects, their advantages and requirements, to increase their cultural awareness and accept/understand differences in their country and in Europe.

Then, the partners will translate the training kit and the guidelines that are published on the platform to maximise the numbers of individuals who can benefit from it.

COPE – Connection Opportunities for People in Europe lasts 2 years and is coordinated co-funded by Erasmus+ Strategic Partnership in the field of youth.
The main aims of the project are:

  • to connect young people in Europe with the aim at increasing social inclusion, promoting EU valuesdiversity acceptance and inter-cultural and social dialogue;
  • to encourage the youth to support their peers in need thought voluntarism and learning exchanges.
  • to fight against long-term work/training inactivity;
  • to increase young people with fewer opportunities basic skills through simplified training and peer learning;
  • to connect young people with fewer opportunities with job centres and inform them about European job support and initiatives;
  • to make Erasmus+ accessible to everyone and motivate young people with fewer opportunities to take part in a mobility project;
  • toincreasing young people with fewer opportunity employability and social skills;
