Research

This document is a cross-country study of EU sustainable development policies, summarising the insights of all the UpSpace project partners. Through a transnational investigation, the analysis examines national policies and educational approaches to environmental sustainability in Italy, Greece, Serbia and Germany, with the aim of outlining the state of the art in the participating countries.
Furthermore, the document includes a selection of best practice examples that demonstrate how national policies and educational approaches to environmental sustainability are implemented in practice. These examples include projects, initiatives, campaigns or proposals promoted by public or private entities at local or national levels and showcase the actions carried out in the countries involved in the project.
Overall, the study provides a solid basis for the development of training courses for teachers and students, with the aim of aligning school curricula more closely with national policies and ensuring their relevance to the real needs of each country involved.
