The MILEAGE Internship Model is a comprehensive and innovative framework designed to support high-quality internships in higher education. It combines established pedagogical internship models with digital and hybrid work-based learning approaches, guiding students, higher education institutions and host organisations through all internship phases, from preparation to final reflection, with a strong focus on skills development, mentoring, quality assurance and civic engagement.
