[su_heading size=”20″]JudEx+ | Judicial Proceedings in Cases of Sexual Violence Against Children: The Child’s Experience. Country Report – Italy[/su_heading]
This report gathers the results of the research carried out between October 2015 and July 2016 in the framework of the activities of the JudEx+ project. JudEx+ is co-funded by the Rights, Equality and Citizenship Programme of the European Commission, and it aims to improve the experience of children who enter the judicial system when they have been abused. The research compromised the following elements: a desk-based research about judicial proceedings in cases of sexual violence against children in Italy; focus groups with professionals working in the field to identify needs, gaps and best practice; interviews with child victims of sexual violence and with professionals.
Target: Professionals from the judicial, healthcare, education systems working with children victims of sexual violence; children involved in judicial proceedings and their families.
