The ASIT Handbook – Red Flag Compass is a practical tool designed to help professionals and citizens recognise the signs of human trafficking and know how to act safely and promptly.
Developed as part of the European ASIT project, the manual brings together key risk indicators and operational guidelines for different contexts: seasonal work, accommodation facilities, digital environments and situations involving minors.
The Compass provides:
-concrete signs for identifying possible victims or situations of exploitation;
-guidance on how to communicate with the person concerned and who to contact;
-information on useful contact numbers and channels in each project partner country.
Its aim is to strengthen early detection capabilities by promoting a coordinated and victim-centred response.
