GEA, now in its fourth transnational meeting in Athens, has nearly completed the e-learning course for 15 educators per country, formatɜ on nonformal education and citizen science. In the coming months, educators will lead traveling classes to promote participatory environmental actions and provide practical tools, such as the Sustainable Kit and a printable Guide, to adopt a more eco-conscious lifestyle.
GEA has finalized an online course for adult educators, promoting environmental and climate action through citizen science. The free, multilingual course will focus on environmental education principles and community engagement strategies.
GEA conducted research on how the citizen science approach is being used in environmental education in seven European countries. The interactive report produced provides valuable information to stimulate reflection and develop concrete actions aimed at environmental and climate protection.
