CESIE is looking for Youth workers and Computer programmer for a Training Course in Philippines within the international project What’s APP Youth!, involving also participants from France, Poland and India.

Who?

  • 3 Youth workers interested and/or have experience in ICT and entrepreneurship;
  • 1 Computer programmer and/or strong background on computer programming.

When?

10 days, from 1st of May to 10th of May 2016.

Where?

Manila, Philippines.

Which activities?

The WAPPY Training Course will focus on ICT – Mobile Application based program development. It aims to enhance understanding and competence of Youth workers in the different ICT skills specifically on mobile applications that can be used to develop entrepreneurship training programs, and run social enterprises.

The main topics of the TC will be to:

  • Understand the concepts of the ICT and Mobile Applications;
  • Understand how ICT and Mobile applications works;
  • Explore how Mobile Applications can aid the Entrepreneurship training designs of youth workers;
  • Develop the framework, skeleton and conceptual design of the mobile application that integrates entrepreneurial skills development and youth mentorship, support and kick-start up assistance for young people.

After the Training Course, the Youth workers will be involved in the Consultation on Mobile Application and Entrepreneurship meeting, in Palermo (Italy) for 3 days, where youth workers and young people will participate in order to share their expertise, fears and needs that brings young people to actual social enterprises and allows them to participate in the operations of these business.

The result of the Local Consultation of each partner countries will be presented during the 5 days Conference in January 2017 in Bangalore (India), where some of the youth workers will have the opportunity to participate.

Costs?

  • Food and Accommodation are covered 80%;
  • Visa and Insurance are covered 80% up to a maximum of 100€;
  • Travel costs are covered 80% up to a maximum of 830€.

NB: Passport with residual validity of at least six months (November 2016) upon arrival in the country.
