Another phase of the ProLang project has been finalised by the partner organisations, and the promotional models report is freely available on prolang.net. This product is the outcome of a research on the most effective channels through which language schools and other institutions can promote their courses to potential students. Language centres are welcome to use it as a tool to increase the visibility of their courses, in line with one of the aims of ProLang.
ProLang generally focuses on the promotion of language learning and linguistic diversity in Europe, and hence aims to act as a bridge between the institutions offering language courses, especially of less spoken European languages, and potential learners, with a special focus on the youth participating in mobility projects.
Keeping language learners in mind, the project partners have dedicated a section of the official project website to a series of linguistic tests which offer a first point of contact with new languages. As of now, users are able to “taste” Slovene, Slovak, and Lithuanian, through a short engaging online test. In the final part of the project, more language tests will be available on the website, and language centres and schools will have the opportunity to familiarise users with their course offers, with a view to making the experience of youths in mobility even more exciting.
