MOBILE – MOBility In Learning in Europe – is the new CESIE project promoting European work exchange experiences for young people and providing training and support for teachers and enterprises. The aim of the project is to create useful tools to improve the development, implementation and follow up of work experiences across Europe.
The MOBILE project will provide better opportunities of personal and professional growth and, especially, will ensure an appropriate training for all the actors involved in mobilities: beneficiaries, teachers and mentors.
The kick off meeting took place in Aachen, Germany, from 12 to 14 February 2014, with the participation of the partners involved in the project– 8 partners from different European Countries: Linkoping E2C, Sweden; Euricon, The Netherlands; CESIE-European Centre of Studies and Initiatives, Italy; VHS Aachen, Germany; CKU Sopot, Poland; Doncaster College, UK, Fundacion Tomillo, Spain; Art 27, Belgium.
The partnership, including educational institutions and organisations committed in international mobility paths and work placements, can count on different and complementary skills and experiences able to give a great contribution to the project fulfilment. Through regular meetings with trainers, teachers, mentors and learners, new training programs will be developed in order to ensure the quality of international exchanges as well as competences and skills of the actors involved. Moreover, a certification system will be adopted in order to ensure the suitability of the stakeholders involved in international mobilities.
During the meeting, the partners analysed the project themes (mobility, training programs, certifications) as well as the tasks and roles each one has to cover until the end of the project, fixed for January 2016. The project website will be shortly online.
The next meeting will be held in Doncaster, United Kingdom, on May 22nd and 23rd.
