The first of December, in the conference room of Konsert och Kongress of Linkoping, a Swedish, an event took place for the promotion of the project MOBILE – MOBility In Learning in Europe (Multilateral Grundtvig project within the programme for lifelong learning). The invitation was extended to the potential users of the courses developed and implemented thanks to the above mentioned project. The participants, who were entrepreneurs as well as teachers, have shown a huge interest in knowing the potential and qualities of the courses and formative tools that can be found on the website. They are sure that those tools can better the quality and promote the access to the internships abroad for young and disadvantaged people, supporting the teachers, the tutors, and the hosting companies.
Following the opening event, the programme has benefitted from the intervention of an important Swedish industrialist who, as an entrepreneur, was able to tell his own experience regarding his professional training, the difficulties he faced during his training abroad and the challenges that the supervisors have to face, even today, in the approach with the new foreign staff, since the working environments are continuously becoming more multicultural.
The other sessions that followed were facilitated by the various partners of the consortium, aiming at showing and describing, in the most interactive way possible, the use of the online platform as a tool for insuring the quality of the mobility for the organizations and the various resources for the teachers and tutors that can help with the planning, implementation and evaluation of the students’ internships. All this to organize successful mobility experiences for young people, and furthermore to prepare the most vulnerable of them to live and work in another country, thanks to the courses that are developed by the project and that forecast the proper support for the most disadvantaged young people.
