How to motivate young people with fewer opportunities to participate in mobility projects to favour their social inclusion?
How to sustain the young people in soft skills acquisition to increase their employability?
Two years after the project began, time has come for the last meeting of COPE! It took place in Cardiff (UK) on 31st May and 1st June 2018 hosted by CCW – Training Academy Ltd, the project’s coordinator.
During this meeting, the last details of the project have been discussed.
It includes a review of the online training portal, the project’s fourth intellectual output with all the information about the mobility opportunities offered to young people in Europe, to refine its final version (observations about translations, its aesthetic and attractiveness, things that could be improved).
To ensure the quality of the evaluation process, all partners discussed the feedback questionnaires to be fulfilled by youngsters during the multiplier events. They have also agreed upon the dates of these multiplier events in each partner country and reminded their objectives and the conditions in which they should take place.
As a reminder, COPE aims to:
- connect young people in Europe with the aim at increasing social inclusion, promoting EU values, diversity acceptance and inter-cultural and social dialogue;
- encourage the youth to support their peers in need thought voluntarism and learning exchanges.
- fight against long-term work/training inactivity;
- increase young people with fewer opportunities basic skills through simplified training and peer learning;
- connect young people with fewer opportunities with job centres and inform them about European job support and initiatives;
- make Erasmus+ accessible to everyone and motivate young people with fewer opportunities to take part in a mobility project;
- increasing young people with fewer opportunity employability and social skills;
- decrease young people’s fears related to mobility through guidance.
