How to motivate young people with fewer opportunities to participate in mobility projects to favor their social inclusion?
How to sustain the young people in soft skills acquisition to increase their employability?
Almost one year after our first meeting, it was now time for ADICE (France) to host all partners in another COPE meeting in Roubaix on 4th and 5th July 2017.
All partners have been working on the Online training materials to enhance and support soft skills acquisition – through documents and information that people can use to prepare themselves before the departure-, so now was time to put it all together and evaluate the whole content. Already on our second meeting day, we went through the fourth intellectual output related to the online platform for youth.
We also had the chance to meet with youth workers that, just as it happened in the previous meetings, supported us with their views, opinions, questions and insights.
Our next meeting will take place in November 2017 in Lille (France) hosted by SophieDelebarre Conseil.
As a reminder, COPE project aims to:
- connect young people in Europe with the aim at increasing social inclusion, promoting EU values, diversity acceptance and inter-cultural and social dialogue;
- encourage the youth to support their peers in need thought voluntarism and learning exchanges.
- fight against long-term work/training inactivity;
- increase young people with fewer opportunities basic skills through simplified training and peer learning;
- connect young people with fewer opportunities with job centres and inform them about European job support and initiatives;
- make Erasmus+ accessible to everyone and motivate young people with fewer opportunities to take part in a mobility project;
- increasing young people with fewer opportunity employability and social skills;
- decrease young people’s fears related to mobility through guidance.
COPE lasts 2 years and is coordinated co-funded by Erasmus+ Strategic Partnership in the field of youth.
The project’s partnership groups five organisations from different Countries:

- ADICE Association Pour Le Developpement Des Initiatives Citoyennes Et Europeennes (France);
- Europejskie Forum Mlodziezy Stowarzyszenie (Poland);
