ARTCOM: Six participants for the International Training Course on Art Therapy
How to improve social inclusion and boost learning of marginalized young people in Europe and Africa?
Would you like to discover the benefit of innovative tools as non-formal methodologies and art therapy in working with young people?
Join the International Training Course of ARTCOM project to develop new educational approaches for youth workers and to promote social inclusion of marginalized young people of Europe and Africa through art therapy.
We are looking for six Italian participants, living in Palermo and its province, interested in taking part in an 8 – days training with other participants from Greece, Malawi, Zambia, Kenya and France.
The main language of the ITC will be English.

Information about the international course
Where? Ecovillaggio Solidale Fiori di Campo, Marina di Cinisi (Palermo)
Period: From 07 to 14 July 2018
Which activities? The ITC will follow a learning process in which participants will be active involved in several workshops on art therapy based on non-formal activities and lead by art therapy’s experts from Italy, Zambia, Kenya, Greece, France and Malawi.
Costs: Participating to the international training course is free of charge

About the project
ARTCOM – ART supporting COMmunities through innovative tools for youth work is financed by the European programme Erasmus+ Key Action 2 – Capacity building in the field of youth.
The project aims to develop new educational approaches for youth workers, promoting the social inclusion of marginalized young people from Europe and Africa through art therapy. There will be created innovative tools to boost learning, to stimulate the communication and interaction, to reduce the social isolation of young people, helping them to be better integrated in the society.

- Neema Community Based Organization (Kenya).
