During the needs gathering phase of youth in vulnerable situations, Photovoice methodology was adopted within the YEA project to explore their perceptions of the sense of community and participation in the area. Participatory research methods directly engage the community, giving voice to its members and valuing their perspectives. This approach allows for a more authentic and meaningful collection of the needs and desires of target groups, ensuring that it is the members of the local community who shape the actions and initiatives on the ground.
