Institutional action plans of the strategic monitoring and performance units for the implementation of the university strategy on research and innovation
The Institutional action plans are key documents generated for the newly created strategic monitoring and performance units, established within each Tunisian university partner of DIRASA. The core mission of these units, and their associated plans, is two-fold: to support research teams in their strategic positioning by identifying funding opportunities and potential partners; and to evaluate institutional research performance by producing monitoring indicators (publications, projects) and driving continuous improvement. The Units are essential tools for strategic guidance, strengthening national scientific competitiveness, promoting a culture of research and innovation, and contributing to the country’s sustainable development. Their multidisciplinary activities include monitoring research policies, analyzing performance data, and supporting the drafting of project proposals to anticipate, adapt, and enhance the university’s standing in the national and international research system.
