Implementation of a job placement model for young NEETs, involving the cooperation of the third sector, public administration and private enterprises.
Context
The percentage of young people not working and not engaged in training is very high in many European Countries. This percentage is even higher if we consider the Sicilian context. Hence the need for a work integration model, which also includes a training component, is urgent. This is only possible through the cooperation of public, private and third sector entities and the involvement of stakeholders and professionals that work in the job field.
Objectives
- To improve and scale up the good practice “Joven Valor”, a social and labour inclusion project addressed to NEET and promoted in Spain by FundEsplai.
- To elaborate a European vocational training and work experience for NEET.
- To foster and support the involvement of public and private stakeholders.
Activities
- Analysis of good practice “Joven Valor” and other national good practices on vocational training and work experiences for NEET.
- Readjustment of such good practices to the local context, through the involvement of companies, public institutions and third sector.
- Design, development and promotion of a European vocational training and work experience for NEET.
