Strengthening initial and continuous teacher education through an immersive, interdisciplinary and inclusive STEAM approach, promoting a sustainable digital transformation of European education systems.

Context

Digital transformation and rapid social changes are reshaping the role of schools and teachers across Europe. STEAM disciplines play a strategic role in fostering critical thinking, creativity and problem-solving skills, yet they are often taught in fragmented ways and insufficiently integrated with inclusive and innovative pedagogical approaches.

At the same time, increasing classroom diversity and the growing complexity of educational contexts require advanced pedagogical competences capable of combining technological innovation, interdisciplinarity and accessibility.

ImSTEAM addresses these challenges through the creation of a European Teacher Academy that connects universities, training providers, schools and institutional stakeholders in a stable network committed to quality, inclusion and sustainable educational innovation.
