Supporting young people aged between 18 and 29 years who are not in education, employment or training (NEET) resident in Spain, favouring their social integration in society by making them undertake an educational and work experience in Palermo.
Context
European mobility is an engine for meeting cultures and developing new skills. Working abroad offers young people a unique opportunity to develop technical and transversal skills that are crucial for their professional future, enabling them to return home with a more competitive profile and greater cultural awareness.
Objectives
The aim of the project is to promote the integration of disadvantaged young people aged between 18 and 29 years who are not in education, employment or training (NEET), by improving their skills, knowledge and experience and offering them an opportunity for vocational traineeships to help them integrate into the labour market and society.
- Develop a training experience for young NEETs aged between 18 and 29, relying on the cooperation of key agents in the area.
- Support 7 young people by providing them with advice and designing training and employment itineraries suited to their profile.
- Promote cultural exchange thanks to a 4-month training and work period in Italy.
- To guarantee the continuity of this project by setting up a solid consortium and identifying actions to meet the real and current needs of the target group in relation to the labour market.
Activities
- Pre-departure training of 7 young NEETs.
- 4-month mobility in Palermo for 7 young NEETs, including work, training and cultural activities.
- Follow-up activities for work guidance and support at the end of the experience.
Impact
- Improvement of skills, competences and employability for 7 young NEETs.
- To enable 7 young NEETs to have a 4-month training experience in Italy, in Palermo, working in companies and organisations in the area.
