If you are a professional in the field of tourism or work in project management closely with the tourism supply chain, or even if you are just entering this field of work and want to increase your skills, HyPro4ST‘s online course is for you!
HyPro4ST is a project whose aim is to create a new professional figure that combines the organization of the project manager with the experience of tourism professionals. To do this, the HyPro4ST consortium has created, with the help of academics and experts on the subject, a completely free online course to give anyone interested in enhancing their skills the tools to do so.
The course is now available in all the languages of the consortium, and consists of six modules, which can be studied individually or consulted together, benefiting the entire course. The topics of the modules are:
- Sustainability and the tourism sector
- Hybrid project management for sustainable tourism
- Creativity and entrepreneurship in sustainable tourism
- Digital skills for the sustainable tourism sector
- The resilient, hybrid and sustainable project manager
- The “projectized” tourism business
Participation in the course is autonomous and self-directed. Completion of each module provides a certificate related to that unit of learning. Should you have an interest in receiving a certification recognized at the European level, TÜV Austria is a partner in the project! In the coming months, TÜV staff will develop a paid examination system, based entirely on the free online course, by which you can attempt to obtain your certification as a Hybrid and Sustainable Project Manager.
From the participants who have completed all six modules, 10 will be selected by Confesercenti Palermo to participate in a study visit to an exemplary facility in sustainable tourism between March and April 2025. Finally, 3 of the participants who completed the entire course will have the opportunity to participate in the front row at the international end-of-project event, which CESIE will host in Palermo in May 2025.
Sign up for the course and start your journey as a hybrid and sustainable project manager now!
