Do you want to increase your digital skills to fill the gap in the publishing industry?
The third meeting of the ASAP – Anticipatory Skills for Adapting the Publishing Sector” project took place in Athens (Greece) from 23th to 24th April.
The project aims to propose an evolutionary map of the skill needs and designs and delivers flexible training programmes (one for each area of the publishing supply chain).
During the meeting in Athens, the Partners worked on the reformulation of the training curricula, shared the MOOC platform structure together and discussed the certification and recognition processes of the training courses through the ECVET-European System for Vocational Education and Training system.
In the next few months, the curricula and the MOOC will be finalized and tested in Greece, Italy, Spain and the United Kingdom. The pilot testing will involve at least 10 professionals for each country.
The purpose of the pilot phase is to evaluate the effectiveness of the training content and materials developed, in order to guarantee the right quality before the launch of the courses.
The MOOC platform will be used to make the curricula, created within ASAP, available for all the interested target groups: it will be a resource that can be used and developed even after the project lifetime.

ASAP is funded by the EACEA Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency of the European Commission in the framework of Erasmus+ Programme – Sector Skills Alliances in vocational education and training.
