In October 2019, the third meeting of the INCAS – INCREASING IMPACT IN INTERNATIONAL WORK PLACEMENT project was held in Matosinhos, Portugal.

It was a very fruitful meeting, thanks to which important steps were taken for the design and creation of a digital quality assurance system for mobility projects promoted by second-chance schools, a system that will allow to evaluate the various phases of the work placement programs conducted at international level (preparation, implementation and evaluation) which will be accessible to all beneficiaries of the project (learners, teachers, mentors).

In order to make the system as suitable as possible for the target audience, during the 2-day meeting the partners visited the second chance school in Matosinhos, where they met the students and teachers who shared their experiences. It is a school where young people with different social backgrounds, follow a unique education and training program, where the students themselves design their own training plan, attending courses for vocational training, artistic, personal and social development, an educational support that gives them a “second chance” to better up their future.

The quality system for mobility projects will soon be available on the official project website.
