The second international meeting of MOBILE, Mobility in Learning in Europe, took place in Doncaster, England, on the 22nd and 23rd of last May. The project involves eight different partners from all around Europe: Italy, Germany, Spain, Poland, Sweden, United Kingdom, Belgium and The Netherlands.
The project promotes European work exchange experiences for young people as well as training programmes and support to companies and teachers involved in mobility projects, relying on a partnership which include educational institutions and associations with many years of experience in the field of international mobility and job placement. Thanks to the experience and the different typologies of the partners involved, Mobile is developing in different directions by creating specific didactic programmes, a certification system to ensure the quality of the institutions involved in the exchanges and a competence card to recognize the skills of the participants.
During the meeting, the partners have presented the activities carried out and discussed about next steps, focusing on training programmes form learners, trainers, teachers and mentors.
The organization of a public event which involved people dealing with mobility projects at different levels, has been particularly attractive. This event has represented the opportunity for the partners to present the results achieved so far and receive useful suggestions about ongoing actions, especially relating to contents of training programmes.
Next activities will involve the elaboration of training plans, with great attention on structure and contents, and a careful selection of topics, texts, pictures and videos to be inserted in the website. All these products will be developed within the next meeting which will take place in Sopot, Poland, on the 27th and 28th of November.
