On May 5th 2015, during the fourth transnational meeting of the project MOBILE – MOBility In Learning in Europe (Grundtvig Multilateral under the Lifelong Learning Programme), a public event it was organized by CESIE at Moltivolti, a co-working space in Palermo.
The MOBILE project aims at improving the quality and at promoting the access to international internships opportunities for young people and disadvantaged people using learning tools addressed to different actors involved in international mobility projects (teachers, tutor, host companies).
The aim of this public event was to present the project to different actors involved in mobility projects. In addition to European partners, the meeting was also attended by eight foreign students who came to Palermo with the project partners for a short internship experience, tutors from associations engaged in educational and social fields, high school teachers, young people involved in EVS and international projects.
After the presentation of the project, the public assisted to a presentation of a short mobility experience done by some foreign students. Indeed, these young people carried out a internship experience hosted in four local organisations, which has cooperated with CESIE for many years, and who offered their availability to host them and to contribute to this experience.
All participants took actively part in the event, also thanks to the group work organized. They had the possibility to express their opinion about the final results of the project, and their feedback and suggestions were collected to improve the final version.
At the end of the event, certificates of attendance were delivered to students together with some gadgets.
Participants’ evaluation of the final public event acknowledged and enhanced the effort made by all mobility stakeholders in the organisation of training courses, with a view to provide trainers / teachers, company mentors and young students with tools allowing them to better cope with their experience and work abroad.
