The many laboratories of the second year of the “Inventing the Future” project will begin in late November that will see many young people engaged in creative activities in Palermo and in active participation!

The “Inventing the Future” project, funded by APQ ” Youngsters protagonist of themselves and the territory “, which began in October 2010 and that will last three years, aims at promoting youngsters’ protagonism through the creation of a multipurpose centre for young people (14-18 and 19 – 25 years), which will be involved in various workshop activities.

The project has created the Multipurpose Centre called OPEN (New Opportunity People Empowerment) at St. Anna’s Centre in the Piazza Kalsa in Palermo. The centre wants to propose an alternative of young people’s spontaneous aggregation so giving the city an alternative space for experimental and cultural self production by youngsters, a space that is both a meeting place, a non-formal education opportunities, expression laboratory and creativity, and a space where it is possible to spend free time with the others giving the sense of being and doing together.

Participation to the workshops is free of charge upon registration.
