The CHOICE international conference on the innovation of STEM education was organised on the 29th of November in Brussels to share best practices, lessons learned, and innovative approaches, leading the improvement of STEM education in European schools.
During the first part od the conference, the partners presented the project key results, among which is relevanta research on the STEM education state-of-the-art, that is Massive Online Open Course (MOOC) using STE(A)M approach to increase young people´s motivation to choose STEM careers, and shared the results of the assessment of the project impact on students and teachers.
Secondly, students from the partner schools in Italy, Spain, Greece, and Cyprus shared their experience with the project and resources they co-created and pilot-tested to an audience composed of representatives from the European Commission, educational institutions and civil society organisations.
The conference concluded with a fruitful panel discussion of policy-makers and the audience around the topic of “Innovative approaches on the promotion and improvement of STE(A)M education at school“, with a focus on EU policy development.
