Objectives
- Promote sense of belonging and shared identity with local community among adult migrant and refugee women
- Enhance their soft skills: communication, teamwork, time management, problem solving, leadership, motivation and commitment
- Identify good practices to involve migrant and refugee women in sport activities, as well as to promote tolerance, solidarity and cooperation
- Train coaches to foster dialogue and exchange, manage diversity, promote social inclusion and therefore prevent discrimination
Activities
- Desk research, survey implementation and result analysis on migrant and refugee women’s participation in sport activities and to reveal ‘gap skills’ of coaches on social integration
- Pilot of the training course for coaches (4 seminars – 30 hours)
- Organize 10 intercultural sport meetings based on the training course
- Implementation of the European Week of Sport
