MyCreativity – MyPower encourages the use of art in the social sphere. Just to prove that significant change can be produced through art, two days of art workshops were organized in Palermo, Italy, in which all members of the consortium took part.

The two days served to present and test all the methodologies developed during the course of the project and concluded with an event open to the public. At the meeting, the results and history of MyCreativity – MyPower were exhibited, and in addition, time for reflection and group discussion is organized.

The workshops were very intense artistic moments, during which people from different organizations had the opportunity to experience firsthand the methodologies, advocacy and activism activities developed just as part of MyCreativity – MyPower.

During the open event, space was also given to the direct testimonies of some of the young people who took part in the international art journey in the past year. It was concluded with exciting performances: one organized and enacted by the young participants in the project, another by two of the MyCreativity – MyPower art trainers. Finally, two foreign participants, who came to Palermo especially for the two-day event, improvised a performance.

This was an intense, educational workshop session in which art and passion for social issues took center stage. In addition, new social networks were created through which many people learned about the project and the methodologies developed.

MyCreativity – MyPower has come to its conclusion, but our story, materials produced, and much more, will be available on the project platform: https://mycreativitymypower.eu/
