Angelo Ribaudo
The CESIE – European Centre of Studies and Initiatives is deeply saddened to learn about the premature death of Angelo Ribaudo, passed away after an exhausting struggle against an acute disease.
In this unpleasant moment we show solidarity with the family and the numerous friends that stood by Angelo’s side until the very end.
Angelo Ribaudo was only 56 and we remember him for the devotion he showed in his fights for the environmental protection; he always sided with the weakest part of our society also thank to his recent political activism as city councilman in Palermo.
We’ll always remember him for the great value he gave to his life as a man close to the people with no regard and an important defender of environment.
Everybody considered him a kind and nice person, an honest politician who tried to build bridges for a better future for our city, and the results of his fights are evident to everybody.
The mortuary chapel will be setted up today at the City Hall to pay homage to the councilman. His funeral service will be held tomorrow,12th of July, at 11:30 a.m. by father Gianni Notari at the church of S. Giuseppe dei Teatini.
