The day of the fifteenth anniversary of the establishment of CESIE, October 21st 2001-2016, the celebrations start in the early afternoon with non-formal group activities for the staff members, to remember once more the motivation to be part of the wider CESIE project.

Then the Direction, Vito La Fata and Marie Marzloff, explained about the ongoing developments and the strategy for the future – new dreams soon to become reality. Starting from valuing the potential of each of its members (staff, volunteers, interns and outside experts) towards a sustainable growth of CESIE and to promote our vision – The World is only one creature.
CESIE is only one creature!
We then continued with the second group activity: CESIE and You! [our Future], inviting everyone to design our own concrete Action-Plan: “According to your expertise and observations … How do you envisage to be able to contribute to the development and growth of CESIE?”
At 19:00 the doors open to the public to retrace together the history of CESIE by annuities and to thank all our employees, partners, funding agencies, who believe in our dream and that collectively grow with us.
As you can see from the presentation – during the years CESIE has grown up and has been enriched, but in fact it has never really changed in its identity. Over the years we have certainly increased the topics we deal with and widened the great diversity of target groups we use to work with [Initiatives], within the various European programmes that fund our activities.
The celebrations concluded with a day of outdoor team-building activities, – to live, getting to know each other better and to dream together, again!
Finally, we want to thank:
- Permanent staff for the enthusiasm, positive spirit, teamwork, collaboration between colleagues and the quality of their work that makes CESIE a benchmark in the world of education at different levels in Europe.
- Interns and volunteers that are engaged in and outside our facilities, – that bring us freshness and enrich us with their ideas, thoughts and points of view.
- External experts and consultants that offer CESIE their expertise and professionalism, as thanks to their commitment CESIE grows and learns on new specific areas.
- … And finally the funding Agencies and Institutions without which CESIE would not exist, that recognise our work and that often value our projects and our structure as a good practice to learn from.
