Italian, Kenyan, Indian, Senegalese, Palestinian, Egyptian, French, Spanish, Chinese, Nepalese…..these are some of the nationalities touched by the Italian Campaign “We are Different, We are the same”, within Equality for Change (EFC), an international project about gender equality and multimedia co-funded by European Commission (Erasmus+, KA2 – Cooperation for innovation and the exchange of good practices).
Launched in July 2015 the campaign aims at raising awareness of the rights linked to the gender equality, with a focus on woman. The tools used for spreading the campaign have been a video (see below), result of the Media Workshop for Gender Equality realized in July 2015, and a poster.
The idea is to let reflect and overcome stereotypes of women that nowadays are still discriminated in the society, even if the presence of legal safeguards.
And you? If you haven’t be caught by the campaign during the several local and mobility activities carried out in these months, watch the video, get inspired, take a photo with the poster and be part of the EFC Italian campaign …because we all are different but we all are the same!
