Equality for Change (EFC), international project about gender equality and multimedia co-funded by European Commission (Erasmus+, KA2 – Cooperation for innovation and the exchange of good practices), started local activities.
After the training course in Slovenia attended by 8 Italian young people, the Italian local group has planned and started local activities running in the next months. The main goal will be to involve and make aware the local community about the project topic, putting in practice what learnt in Slovenia.
So far several activities have already been carried out, especially involving local and foreign youngsters, among which:
- Media Workshop for Gender Equality: theoretical and practical laboratory about media and gender equality. The result has been a video launching the Italian EFC campaign “We are Different, We are the same”.
- Open talk on Gender Equality: discussion, in the form of a talk show, about the situation and the role of women in Italy and other EU and third countries. Finally, the local campaign “We are Different, We are the same” has been promoted.
