The tourism sector is undergoing rapid changes, together with the skills needed to be successful in today’s labour market. The current educational and training offer needs to renovate to be able to provide the EU workforce with the appropriate skillset.
HyPro4ST has been working on the development of ad hoc resources to welcome this challenging transformation! Over the last year, the consortium has been working on the development of two key resources:
- The Vocational Open Online Course (VOOC) “Sustainable Hybrid Project Management for the Tourism Sector”, for existing and prospective project managers of the tourism sector and students, which contains six modules leading to the recognition of the qualifications obtained through an ad hoc certificate, based on ECVET and micro-credential approach.
- The HyPro4ST Practical Guide for trainers and educators of higher and vocational education, which will introduce them to the newly established curriculum and training contents of the online training course, placing significant emphasis on working with project-based, micro, blended and work-based learning approaches, and other important non-formal education methods.
During the consortium meeting taking place in Ljubljana on the 11-12th June, partners could discuss once again the status of the developed resources and plan together the next steps of the project. Would you like to enhance your skills in the fields of project management and tourism? Would you like to renovate your educational and training offer to keep pace with the current trends of the tourism sector? Then, take part in HyPro4ST learning activities:
- 6-day seminars for vocational and higher education trainers;
- Online training for hybrid, green and digitalized project managers serving towards the transformation of the tourism sector.
