As part of the ENPI programme, CaBuReRa – CAPACITY BUILDING RELAY RACE project aims at strengthening the cooperation amongst European and Mediterranean Countries.

Having 1,680,000 € budget, funded for the 90% by the European Union, CaBuReRa project promotes training, exchange and networking actions so as to develop relationships amongst youngsters, public authorities and education actors which should facilitate school-to-work transition and enhance active citizenship and intercultural dialogue by means of mobility experiences.

The project intends to involve in these activities 30 youth workers and 60 unemployed youths from Italy, Greece, Portugal, Jordan, Lebanon and Palestine.

On Friday, February 20th a special event will celebrate Euro-Mediterranean dialogue, starting at 10.30 a.m. with a press conference aimed at presenting the project and culminating at 6.00 p.m. in an experience sharing session: 5 youth workers coming from Jordan, Lebanon and Palestine will talk about their experience by introducing their culture through music, poetry and traditional dances.

The event will be also an occasion to present Similarities, a photographic exhibition by Sara David, who is spending her mobility period in Lebanon.

The following 14 countries participate in the Programme: Cyprus, Egypt, France, Greece, Israel, Italy, Jordan, Lebanon, Malta, Palestinian Authority, Portugal, Spain, Syria, Tunisia. The Joint Managing Authority (JMA) is the Autonomous Region of Sardinia (Italy). Official Programme languages are Arabic, English and French.
