In an era where misinformation spreads faster than ever online, educators and learners need solid tools and skills to critically navigate digital communication, Think Twice project has been at the forefront of supporting media literacy development across Europe.
Who is behind Think Twice? A transnational partnership of organisations from eight European countries, including CESIE ETS, collaborated to strengthen media literacy in formal learning contexts.
What has the project done? Over the past two years, the consortium hosted country-specific webinars, piloted modular workshop series for educators and teachers, and developed an interactive educational game designed to engage learners of all ages in recognizing misinformation and enhancing critical thinking.
When and where did activities take place? Activities occurred throughout 2024–2025 in each partner country, reaching a wild range of people among primary, secondary school and university as such as teachers, adult educators, future teachers, and students.
Why was Think Twice needed? The rapid rise of digital content and the persistence of fake news present a significant challenge for education systems that’s why Think Twice aimed to empower both educators and learners with practical strategies and pedagogical tools to respond to this challenge.
How were results achieved? Through webinars, workshop modules, visual resources like infographics, and the Think Outside the Box gamified tool, Think Twice provided hands-on learning experiences and shared practical approaches to media and digital literacy.
