Do you want to discover more about traditional Asian and Autochthon food?
Would you like to create new culinary art, mixing Asian and European food, in collaboration with Asian participants?
CESIE is looking for participants to be involved in the Eat Smart project, which aims at spreading a sustainable, creative and healthy way of approaching food, promoting intercultural dialogue through pleasant approaches and linking the work of organisations with the world of enterprises and sustainability. Activities of this project will be implemented in Beijing (China), Palermo (Italy), Pau (France) and Hanoi (Vietnam) separately.
Eat Smart project is funded by the Youth in Action Programme 3.2 – Youth in the word sub action, which encourages exchanges and training of young people and youth workers, partnerships and networks of youth organisations from Eu partners and partners from other part of the word.
According to the project, we need participants with abilities as a work team as follow:
- 3 film makers, who are good at making video as well as willing to transmit the knowledge to others;
- 5 participants with strong skills in cooking, culinary traditions, in enterprises promoting healthy food and sustainable consumption;
- 1 youth leader to organise young people to be involved in workshops at local level actively.
As participant you could be involved in these work:
- To develop ideas of intercultural dialogue and creativity to be brought to TC in China;
- To participate to the TC in Beijing (China) from the17th – 22nd March 2013;
- To build up a platform of sharing healthy food with other participants from France, Vietnam and China in Beijing;
- To organise 6 cooking workshops with local community in Italy;
- To participate in the food fair in Palermo with participants from China, France and Vietnam.
After setting up a work team, preparatory work for each activity will be conducted successively.
For the TC in China we have just 3 places: one cooker, one video maker and one youth leader.
Travel cost for each participants:
- 30% flight ticket
- 30% visa
- 30% insurance
Food and accommodation will be 100% covered.
