- Reflecting on English teachers’ practice and providing a better understanding of oral skills assessment models for students of English as a foreign language
- Improving oral English skills of students in upper secondary schools by creating a feasible assessment model
- Helping English teachers in upper secondary schools improve their assessment skills
- Including useful tests assessing English oral skills in final qualification examination at the end of secondary education
Activities
- Research aimed at developing an assessment model and guidelines so as to evaluate English oral skills of students in upper secondary schools
- Design and development of a library of Open Educational Resources to be used by teachers and students of upper secondary schools
- Design of an e-toolkit for English teachers on methodologies and strategies aimed at improving English oral skills of students in upper secondary schools
- Creation of a training course for English teachers in upper secondary schools so as to train them to use the aforementioned tools in the classroom
- Design and development of a digital platform facilitating the assessment of English oral skills
- Collection of policy recommendations on English language teaching practices targeted at teachers, families, stakeholders and educational policy makers in EU
